It started out at Favela Chik (pretty sure they could use a C somehow) and ended in my first real hangover of the trip (not pleasant)… Lots of samba dancing in between…. so many bars in Bairrio Alto, Lisboa…..

‘Paginas Tantas’, a jazz bar in Bairrio Alto, Lisbon… I arrived on Sunday and went here to check it out and listen to some jazz… It was a pretty quiet night so the barmaid was preparing cocksucking cowboys (or something) and margharitas to pit in the fridge for more busy nights… Thursday Friday Saturday apparently… Google translate says paginas tantas = ‘many pages’
Despite being quiet on Sunday, there were still a lotta people out on the streets when i went home…
Beer is still very cheap in Lisboa - compared to Sydney - but I still think fondly of those village ceverjerias of Beira Alta where I was paying 75 euro cents at one stage per beer!!
